Eðhús is an old rural home at Snæfellsnes peninsula on the west coast of Iceland. Festir had it transformed into 5 quality studio apartments intended for tourist accommodation. Emphasis was placed on keeping the original simplicity of the old house; a one-story minimalistic mid century house with a single-pitched roof. The house sits extremely well in the landscape, as it stands on a twelve-thousand-year-old shoreline with magnificent views in all directions.
